dub werks/DM Magazine Dyno Day 2007

The midwest snow and cold has finally come to a close and the spring weather is upon us, what better way to start off the season then by dynoing a few cars and seeing what everyones been up to over the winter months. We teamed up with the great people over at DM Magazine and setup the dyno day with our friends at AMS in Arlington Heights, IL for May 26th.

Little did we know this would be the only day of the long Memorial Day weekend to rain and rain it did, pretty much the entire day. Did that stop the dedicated VW and Audi owners from finding out what their cars are now putting out power wise? Heck no! Despite the weather we still had 20 cars go on the dyno and lots more show up just to hang out.

Fun medals were given out for the highest and lowest horsepower numbers of the day. Mike whos 2003 20th Anniversary 1.8T with turbo upgrade did 416 horsepower and 370 ft lbs of torque left with highest horsepower of the day followed by a K04'ed S4 and turbocharged R32. Lowest horsepower of the day proudly went to Matt with his nice 1998 Jetta 2.0L with 93 horsepower and 117 ft lbs of torque. Congrats guys!
